Duba Races Competitively at State Meet!

Exciting describes the finish of Sophomore Maggie Duba's second High School Cross Country season!
Duba raced exceptionally well in the State Meet at MIS Saturday, running strong through cold, wind, and a slow, muddy course. Her time of 20:21 earned her 102nd place!
"Halfway through the season Maggie mentally embraced what she was capable of, and that combined with her tremendous discipline and hard work with talented teammates, enabled her to hang with some of the best girls in our region, qualify for State, and eventually outkick them to finish higher than she was ranked entering the meet. It was a very fulfilling finish to her season" said her Coach Mom Duba :) .
