Freshman Ali Junewick Overall Freshman Winner!

In stifling heat, racing a PR of 21:03, and beating over 115 other Freshman runners from over 36 teams, West Catholic's own Ali Junewick was the Freshman Champion at the Cougar Falcon Invitational this past Saturday! Close behind in 13th was Nathalie Strockis, followed by Maggie McKeiver in 33rd with a PR of 25:10, and Lainey Roth in 38th!
In the Varsity race, Maggie Duba came across first for the Falcons in 36th place, followed by Grace McCartney, Hope Thome, Julia Sanford with a PR of 26:25, Hannah Arends, Abby Nawrocki, and Lauren Gutierrez.
The girls toughed it out, and are looking forward to their next Conference race this Wednesday in cooler conditions! Go for it, Lady Harriers!
