This Saturday April 21st, the West Catholic Varsity Baseball Program will host Kalamazoo Powers Catholic and Flint Powers Catholic in a three game baseball series at Fifth Third Ballpark, home of the West Michigan Whitecaps. In the first game of the day Hackett Catholic will take on Powers Catholic at 11 AM.  In game 2 Hackett Catholic will take on West Catholic at 1 PM,  then final game of the day will feature Powers Catholic against West Catholic.

Tickets will be available at the Fifth Third Gate on Saturday at $ 6.00 a piece.  

Come out and support your West Catholic Falcons, Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic, and Flint Powers Catholic in a day with three quality Baseball Programs in the state of Michigan. All in the beautiful setting of Fifth Third Ballpark, which by the way is celebrating it's 25th Year in Grand Rapids.

West Catholic opened the Varsity Baseball Baseball Season by traveling to Northview HS, picking up a 6-1 victory.  Gaetano Vallone started for the Falcons on mound and picked up the win going three innings and exiting on pitch count.  Vallone allowed no runs on no hits, he stuck out six and walked two.  Nick VanVliet pitched in relief, going the final four innings, allowing one run on one hit, VanVliet walked one and struck out one.

On offense the Falcons were paced by Spencer Vainavicz's two RBI, on a single and double.  Gaetano Vallone added an RBI triple.  Matt Bilski and Braden Nawrocki chipped in with a single each for the Falcons.

West Catholic will be at home Wednesday 3/28 against Hopkins, Game time 4:15 PM.

Due to a sub 40 degree temperature expected for most of the day tomorrow, it’s been decided to CANCEL. 

Baseball Open Gym for this Sat Jan 27th has been moved to 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, due to a Facilities Conflict.  Sorry for the late notice.  Thanks for understanding.
