Boys Freshman Basketball vs. Reeths-Puffer High School

Falcons Win: 53 - 41
The West Catholic boys freshman basketball team beat a tough Muskegon Reeths-Puffer squad Monday night 53-41. The game was close throughout until the Falcons pulled away in the last 5 minutes. Caleb Tuttle had 20 points, and Michael Ignatoski scored eight to lead West Catholic. Jacob Thomas and Joey Mahaney had solid all around games for the Falcons, and Alex Pelton and Joey Nawrocki provided energy off the bench. The freshman boys next game will be December 27 at 12:30pm in the Zeeland East holiday tournament. The team will also play December 28 in the tournament (time TBD).

Falcons Win: 43 - 28
The West Catholic boys freshmen basketball team won their home opener on Tuesday night 43-28 over Lowell. John Kirkbride led the Falcons with 19 points, including 13 in the 4th quarter. Alex Pelton added 8 points, and Ben James and Michael Ignatoski led the defense in holding Lowell to 28.
The freshmen team is back in action on Monday, Dec 17, when they host Muskegon Reeths-Puffer at 4pm.

Falcons Win: 66 - 34
The West Catholic freshmen basketball opened their season with a 66-34 victory at Wyoming-Kelloggsville. John Kirkbride led the Falcons with 25 points, Caleb Tuttle added 11, and Michael Ignatoski had 7 pts. along with a strong rebounding effort. Joey Nawrocki, Brennen McKinney, and Ben James had strong contributions off the bench. The freshmen boys will have their home opener at 4pm on Tuesday, December 11, when they host Lowell.
