The West Catholic girls varsity basketball team traveled to Spring Lake for their first road conference game on Tuesday night. The Lakers struggled against the aggressive Falcons defense as West started fast scoring early and often in the first quarter racing out to a 19-3 first lead. Every Falcon scored in the 58-25 victory led by Elisha Dykstra%u2019s 20 points. Ellie Bies, Cadence Dykstra and Reese Polega each added 8 points. Grace Nyeholt, Becca Tuttle, Paige Seely-London and Emma Tuttle all scored and provided great defensive pressure throughout the game and Emma Tuttle helped control the boards with 9 rebounds. The 9-0 (2-0 OK Blue) Falcons travel to Allendale Friday night. Tip off is 6pm. Go West!
