The girls varsity basketball team opened the 2022 districts at Unity Christian against Forest Hills Eastern on Wednesday night. The Falcons jumped out early on the Hawks and never trailed in their 73-25 semifinal district win. Elisha Dykstra had the hot early hand scoring seven of her 13 points in the first quarter. Emma Tuttle pulled down 10 rebounds and Cadence Dykstra had another strong game assisting her teammates and added 8 points. Abbey Kimball led all scorers with 26 points. Next up for the Falcons will be a district final matchup with Catholic Central Friday night at Unity Christian. Tip is 7pm. Go West!
