Falcons Win: 4 - 1
WEST CATHOLIC WINS!  In game one of the OK-Blue Conference Tournament, the Falcons hosted Fruitport for a 6:45pm start. Winning the contest 4-1, the girls improved to 13-1-3 keeping them as the second ranked team in Division 3. On the night, Abby Druelle netted three goals giving her a hat-trick performance with Claire Smith scoring the other goal on the night via a penalty kick. Assists made by Cassie Sisk, Claire Smith, and Lexi Gutierrez put the team in great position.  Our ladies travel to Spring Lake Wednesday, May 17 for the second game of the tournament where they will take on the Lakers at 6:45pm who they previously tied earlier in the season. Recapping last night’s Varsity Soccer contest versus Wyoming, a shout out to our five ladies on senior night who made it a memorable one by each scoring their own goals in the game! Congratulations to our ladies on a great night. Let’s keep it going! The girls are back in action Monday, May 15 at 6:45pm in the OK-Blue Conference Tournament at Home with Fruitport.

WEST CATHOLIC WINS! Monday night the Allendale Falcons traveled to West Catholic in an OK-Blue Conference contest making up the April 19 rainout. Starting a bit slow in the first few minutes of the game, goaltender Charlotte Dauser came up with some big saves. Breaking the scoreless drought came from Lexi Gutierrez scoring the game's first goal with 19 minutes to play in the first half. Never looking back, Cadence Dykstra passed a beautiful ball to Abby Druelle just before the half making it 2-0. In the second half, the Falcons scored three more goals thanks to Claire Smith's penalty kick, Cadence Dykstra's goal from one of multiple Smith assists and then the fifth goal of the evening coming from Abby Druelle again.  With the win, the Varsity Women's Soccer squad moves on to 10-1-3 on the season! The girls are home once again this coming Wednesday as they take on Greenville in a non-league contest starting at 6:45pm. See below for tonight's scoring efforts! WEST CATHOLIC WINS!  It was a perfect night for the Varsity Falcons with Coopersville coming to Falcon Stadium for a 6:45pm start yesterday evening. The next battle in the OK-Blue Conference, West Catholic braved the poor weather conditios and scored two minutes into the game and never looked back. Cruising to an 8-0 victory over the Broncos, West Catholic now moves to 9-0-2 on the season keeping their state ranking of 2nd for Division 3.  The win sets up an ultimate clash between West Catholic and Unity Christian Wednesday night which features the #1 vs. #2 teams in the state. The game is set for a 6:45pm start with JV to begin at 5:00pm.  The statistics for last night are as followed:  Goals: Abby Druelle (3), Cadence Dykstra (2), Claire Smith (2), & Georgia Readwin Assists: Claire Smith (4), Abby Druelle, Elisha Dykstra, Natalie Kwiatkowski, & Cadence Dykstra Shut-Out in Goal by Charlotte Dauser Congratulations as well to our JV ladies as they too took home a Monday victory over the Broncos winning 2-1 with Morgan Montana scoring both goals in the contest. Falcons Win: 2 - 1
WEST CATHOLIC WINS! FALCONS STAY HOT!  Wednesday night the Falcons traveled to Fruitport to take on the Trojans in the next OK-Blue Conference contest on the schedule. Staying hot, the Falcons earned the victory winning 2-1 over the Trojans to move to 8-0-2 on the season keeping their ranking of second in the state for Division 3.  On the offensive side, Senior Cadence Dykstra scored another goal for the Falcons and Senior Ellie Bies head an incredible goal off a header from a corner kick. Juniors Claire Smith and Abby Druelle both had assists and Charlotte Dauser continues to be solid in net.  The girls are back in action Monday, May 1 when Coopersville comes to Falcon Stadium for a 6:45pm conference show down.

WEST CATHOLIC WINS!  On Monday night the Varsity Falcons traveled to Hamilton for an OK-Blue Conference showdown with a very solid Hawkeyes squad. Looking to keep the win-streak alive after an incredible weekend of three straight wins, the Falcons came away with another big time conference victory beating the Hawkeyes 2-1.  Now 7-0-2 on the season, the girls are currently ranked as the second best team in the state for Division 3 and will look to continue their success tomorrow as they travel to another league opponent taking on Fruitport Wednesday night for a 6:45pm start.  Goals versus Hamilton were scored by Abby Druelle and Cadence Dykstra with assists made by Claire Smith and Abby Druelle. Congrats, ladies! Keep up the great work!

WEST CATHOLIC WINS & SWEEPS SATURDAY TRI!  An incredible showing for our Varsity Soccer squad, the Lady Falcons went an impressive 3-0 on the day beating State Ranked Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard, Portland, and the defending State Champions, Williamston in three consecutive games moving to 6-0-2 on the season and currently the 2nd Ranked team in the state for Division 3!  In Game 1 vs. Gabriel Richard: Abby Druelle from Claire Smith with 3 minutes left in the 1st half gave us a 1-0 halftime lead.  Came out stronger in the 2nd half.  Claire Smith put the game away with 14 minutes left on a feed from Abby Druelle.  Charlotte Dauser with the clean sheet with help on D from Ellie Bies, Molly Perez, Cassandra Sisk and Maddie Pastoor. In Game 2 vs. Portland: West jumped out early 1:30 into the match on a goal by Claire Smith with the assist from Natalie Kwiatkowski. Added to it 3 minutes later on a goal by Abby Druelle assisted by Claire Smith.  Not done yet, 2 minutes later Cassandra Sisk notched her first goal of the year on an assist from Claire Smith.  Cadence Dykstra got in the scoring column in the 2nd half with a goal off a corner kick by Cassandra Sisk.  Again, Dauser with the clean sheet with help on D from Ellie Bies, Molly Perez, Cassandra Sisk and Maddie Pastoor In Game 3 vs. Williamston: At the end of long day in a hard fought back and forth match that saw many chances for each team West finally pulled ahead when Abby Druelle finished on a through ball from Claire Smith with 7 minutes left in the match.  West hung on for the victory.  Charlotte Dauser made 6 saves for her third clean sheet of the day.  Helped on D From Bies, Perez, Sisk, Pastoor and Novakoski.  Individual Statistics:  Claire Smith 2 goals and 4 assists Abby Druelle 3 goals, 1 assist Cadence Dykstra 1 goal Sisk 1 goal, 1 assist Kwiatkowski 1 assist  Dauser: 3 shutouts and 8 saves

Falcons Lose: 1 - 1
WEST CATHOLIC EARNS A POINT!  Last night our Varsity Falcons trailed 1-0 versus OK-Blue Conference opponent Holland Christian for majority of the contest. With just under two minutes to go, Junior Midfielder Ellie Klooster found the back of the net to tie the game 1-1. Holding the Maroons to only one goal on the night, Senior Charlotte Dauser continues to do a great job in goal.  Moving to 3-0-2 on the season, the Falcons are currently ranked 6th in Division 3 by MIHSSCA. The next game for these ladies will be tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19 versus OK-Blue Conference opponent Alledale at Home with the contest starting at 6:45pm. Come on out and support your Falcons! Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Spring Lake High School

Falcons Lose: 3 - 3
West Catholic Ties Spring Lake In the first OK-Blue Conference contest of the 2023 season, our Varsity Falcons came away with a tie against Spring Lake with a 3-3 score. Coming from behind two separate times to equalize the score, the girls showed a ton of heart, effort, and determination to compete the entire game.  Goals scored included Abby Druelle assisted by Claire Smith, Cadence Dykstra assisted by Abby Druelle, and Abby Druelle again assisted by Claire Smith.  The girls will be in action again this coming Monday, April 17 for a Home contest when OK-Blue opponent Holland Christian comes to Falcon Stadium. Game starts at 6:45pm. Hope to see you there for our first Home game of the season! Go West!

WEST CATHOLIC WINS!  In the third game of the season and the final contest until after Spring Break, the Varsity Women's Soccer squad was on the road to take on West Michigan Aviation Academy. Coming away with their third win in as many tries, the Falcons are now 3-0 on the young season!  Key performances started with Junior Abby Druelle netting two goals on the evening with the two other goals coming from Senior Ellie Bies and Sophomore KT Novakoski. Assists on the night were made by Junior Claire Smith and Senior Cadence Dykstra.  The girls will be off until April 12 when they start league play in the OK-Blue as they travel to Spring Lake. Go West!

WEST CATHOLIC WINS!  On Monday night our Varsity Women's Soccer team traveled to East Kentwood to take on the Falcons in a non-conference match-up. Coming away victorious, West Catholic moves to 2-0 on this young season with their next game coming up on Wednesday, March 28.  Key performances from the whole team, the Falcons were led by Senior, Cadence Dykstra scoring two goals in only her second career game. Both Abby Druelle and Claire Smith were on the assists. Congrats, ladies!

WEST CATHOLIC WINS!  In the first game of the 2023 Women's Varsity Soccer season, the Falcons came away victorious. A 1-0 decision on the road over Big Rapids, the Falcons were led by Charlotte Dauser recording a shutout in net with Lexi Gutierrez scoring the lone goal of the evening off of Abby Druelle's assist.  The Falcons next game will be Monday, March 27 at East Kentwood High School starting at 6:45pm.
