Girls Varsity Cross Country at Shepherd-Track on Grass Invite

Falcons Lose: -
We had a midweek cross country meet in Shepherd, a unique type of meet before our first 5k. This was the first installment of the Track on Grass Invitational where we ran different track distances on some cross country terrain. These included the 800, mile, 2 mile and 4x800 races.
The girls had good finishes especially in the 800 meter race where Brenna Olewinski was 1st place and Katherine Klooster was 2nd!
This was a fun opportunity for us to get more competition under our belt before our annual Catholic Invite next Saturday at the St.Francis Retreat Center. We’ll have a hot week of training to prepare us for the hilly course we will come across!
