The Girls ventured out to Ionia today to participate in the Lowell Inv. Bowling a couple of girls down, they teamed up with two girls from Hopkins to bowl very well today. Bowling two regular games first, the girls rolled games of ( 658 - 722 ) to put them in 5th place. Next up were the Baker games and that didn't go well. After all the adding of pins were done, the girls ended up in 8th place and making the 2 game finals match play. Being the #8 seed, the first opponent was the #1 team from Jenison. In the first game our girls made it close early, but, Jenison pulled away late with a string of strikes, winning the game 211 - 146. In the 2nd game, the girls came out strong again and won the game 156 - 155. But the two game total was Jenison 366 WC 302.
Individual game totals for the girls were:
Cassidy Burns 114 -199 = 313 for a 12th place overall finish. 5 pins from a top 10 medal position.
Lilly Deyoung  131 - 140 = 271 for a 24th place and Madelyn Schuitman 147 - 111 = 258 for a 28th place out of 58 individual participants.
