The West Catholic Freshman Girls started off the New Year by defeating Coopersville 23-14. Kate Schwartzfisher and Emily Morrin led the way defensively. Hannah Kieda had 9 points, while Anna Schwartzfisher added 6 points, to pace the Falcons. Emily Kloska had a strong floor game along with 5 points. Anna Richmond also contributed 3 points. On Thursday, January 10th, the Falcons will travel to Sparta to take on the Spartans.
