The West Catholic Girls Freshman Basketball team opened their season by hosting Traverse City West High School. Despite playing hard, the Falcons were defeated 41-19. West was led in scoring by Anna Richmond with 7 points. Emily Morrin and Anna Schwartzfisher each contributed 4 points for the Falcons. West returns to action on Thursday, when they host Hamilton High School.
