WEST CATHOLIC WINS! SWEEPS SATURDAY vs. FHC & SC
It was a Double Header Saturday for the Varsity Softball team as they headed to Conrerstone University to take on a pair of non-conference opponents in Forest Hills Central and Grand Rapids South Christian.
Coming away with two huge wins, the Falcons bested the Rangers 19-9 in game one and won in walk-off fashion 13-12 over a very good South Christian team in game two.
The offense on Saturday was led by Senior Emma Chrystan who went 6 fo 8 on the day. In addition, Sophomore Paige Clinger and Junior Becca Tuttle each tallied five hits of their own with Tuttle hitting a Home Run and totalling 5 RBIs. Senior Sophie North also helped production with 5 RBIs of her own.
The Falcons are back in action tomorrow, Tuesday, April 25 for a league Double Header when they travel to take on Allendale. Go West!
