WEST CATHOLIC SPLITS DOUBLE HEADER
Thursday evening our Varsity Softball squad took on a very competitive Northview team in a non-conference Double Header. Ending in a 1-1 split, West Catholic took game one by a score of 4-3 in 7 innings closing the door in the top half of the seventh. The second game belonged to Northview as the Wildcats claimed a 7-1 victory.
Key contributors Thursday included Sophie North going 4-5 at the plate and pitching 5 K's in 4 innings. Additionally, Jordan Empie was 3-6 at the plate including a 2 RBI scoring double in game 1. In the circle, Empie pitched a total of 9 innings with 6K's only giving up 1 earned run. Becca Tuttle also continued to stay hot at the plate with three hits on the day.
The Falcons return to the field this coming Tuesday, April 18 when OK-Blue Conference opponent Holland Christian comes to West Catholic for a Double Header. Game one starts at 4:00pm. Hope to see you there. Go West!
