Mens & Womens Varsity Wrestling - Regional Finals
This past weekend five of our West Catholic Wrestlers competed in the MHSAA Regionals and all five student-athletes qualified for the State Finals! Congratulations to the athletes and coaches for their awesome accomplishments on Saturday and seeing their hard work pay off.
In the Men's Regionals, Cole Karasinski was the overall Regional Champion in his weight class and received his 150th career win. Teammate, Noah Abram took 3rd place in his weight class. Both will wrestle at Ford Field on March 3-4 in the State Finals.
In the Women's Regionals, Jessica Martinez took 1st Place, Aniah Tan took 2nd Place, and Emerson Whitscell took 3rd Place.
Lastly, Cole, Jessica, and Aniah advancing to the State Tournament makes each of them 4x State Qualifiers. Go West!
