West Catholic Varsity Baseball won the opening game of the OK Blue DH over Comstock Park 1-0 at West Catholic on Wednesday afternoon. Gaetano Vallone picked up the win on the mound for the Falcons, he pitched 7 innings, allowed 0 runs on 6 hits, he struck out 8 and didn't allow a walk.
Offensively, the Falcons were led by Matt Bilski's 2 hits, including and game winning RBI double in the bottom of the 6th inning. Mitchell Doyle, Braden Nawrocki and Spencer Vainavicz added hits for West Catholic.
The win improved the Falcons to 11-5 in the OK Blue and 18-8 overall.
