The West Catholic Falcons won the final game of the OK Blue series over Spring Lake Thursday afternoon at West Catholic by the score of 12-3.

Nick Kimball got the win on the mound pitching the complete game, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits, he struck out 3 and walked 2.  

It was a 14 hit attack that paced the Falcons offense.  Braden Nawrocki was making his first start after an opening day injury, he had three hits including 2 doubles.  Gaetano Vallone also added three hits for West Catholic, and Spencer Vainavicz had a double.  Also adding to the hit parade was Matt Bilski with 2 hits, Nick VanVliet with two hits, Bo Arndt with one hit, Erik Bouwhuis with a hit, and Tyler Hofmann with a hit.  

Defensively the Falcons played good defense behind Kimball, by not committing a error in the field.

With the victory the Falcons improve to 9-5 in the OK Blue with an important make up game scheduled for Monday 5/14 against Allendale at West Catholic, first pitch scheduled for 4:15 PM.  The Falcons are 13-7 overall and head north to compete in the John Schlosser Memorial Tournament at Glen Lake HS on Saturday.  They play Gaylord St. Mary's at Noon, Glen Lake and Manton are the other two teams in the Tournament.
