The Lady Falcons opened up the 2020 season by traveling to play the Trojans of Fruitport High School on Thursday, September 10. The Falcons struggled finding a consistent offense, dropping the first set 21-25. The second set was controlled by the Falcons and dominated with a score 25-10. The Trojans found themselves in a good spot with some tough serving, and rattled the Falcons. The Falcons made a late run, but would drop the third set 20-25. With many chances to close out on the match for the Trojans, the West Catholic displayed great grit and poise and would take set four with a score of 26-24. Heading into the deciding, fifth set the Trojans were ahead 7-6 but would lose 9 of their last 13 points. The Falcons won set five with a score of 15-9.

The Lady Falcons will travel to East Grand Rapids on September 11 to face the Pioneers and the Crusaders of Muskegon Catholic Central. On Saturday, September 12 they will square up with Unity Christian, Grand Rapids Christian and Hudsonville.
