SPRING LAKE HIGH SCHOOL: 36
West Catholic claimed their 3rd straight regional championship with a win over OK Blue rival Spring Lake. In a hard fought and physical game, the Falcons outscored the Lakers 48-36. West Catholic was led by Alexis Asekomeh who recorded a double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Also finishing in double digits for the Falcons was Paige Seely-London with 12 points. Reese Polega and Elisha Dykstra finished with 9 and 8 points respectively. Emma Tuttle pulled down 9 rebounds while adding 6 points. Becca Tuttle grabbed 5 rebounds.
The 25-1 Falcons advance to the quarterfinals where they will face Vicksburg. The game will be played next Tuesday 3/19 at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek at 7:00pm.
