In the final game of the Cornerstone Holiday Tournament, the Falcons took on their rival the Cougars of Catholic Central. The Cougars started fast but the Falcons stayed together and lead a valiant comeback to win 60-54.
Once again it was a balanced scoring attack for the Falcons, lead by Alexis Asekomeh with 15 points. Reese Polega finished with 14 points and Elisha Dykstra added 10 points. Becca Tuttle and Paige Seely-London chipped in 9 and 8 points a piece.
Emma Tuttle grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 4 assists while playing a key role in limiting touches to Catholic's inside players. Elisha Dykstra and Reese Polega each grabbed 8 rebounds.
The 5-1 Falcons head into conference play next Friday at Hamilton. Game time scheduled for 7:30pm. Go West!
