The West Catholic girls varsity basketball team opened the second half of their conference season on the road traveling to Hamilton Friday night. Despite not playing in a week the Falcons started fast behind strong defensive pressure and Elisha Dykstra scored all seven of her points in a 24-8 first quarter. Abbey Kimballl scored 15 of her game high 23 points in the first half as West led 46-22 going into the locker room. As a team West Catholic made ten 3 pointers and Anna Ignatoski added 14 points and Reese Polega 8 in the 68-29 victory. The Falcons are now 13-1 (8-0 OK Blue) and will play at Holland Christian on Tuesday. Tip is scheduled for 7pm. Go West!
