The West Catholic girls varsity basketball team completed the first half of the conference schedule by traveling to Spring Lake to take on the Lakers Friday night. The Falcons wasted no time getting into the scoring column jumping out to a 19-9 first quarter lead behind 13 points from Abbey Kimball. Reese Polega had a strong game rebounding and shooting from long range. Polega had four 3-pointers and 19 points in the 72-39 victory. Kimball led all scorers with 35 points and had seven 3-pointers. Abbey Kimball has now surpassed 1500 points at West Catholic. The 12-1 (7-0 OK Blue) Falcons will travel to Hamilton next Friday. Tip is scheduled for 7pm. Go West!
