The West Catholic girls varsity basketball team played their cross town rivals Catholic Central Friday night at West and completed the season sweep with their 55-33 victory. Tied 11-11 after the first quarter, the Falcons turned up the defensive pressure and held the Cougars to just six second quarter points. Maddie Smith had the hot hand for the Falcons knocking down five 3 pointers on her way to a team high 20 points. Abbey Kimball added 17 points for the first place Falcons. West now 14-1 (7-0) play Sparta Tuesday night at West Catholic. Go West!
