The Grand Rapids West Catholic co-op hockey team lost  in their playoff game against Traverse City Saint Francis Bay Reps 6-2. It was a much closer game than what the score shows. The Falcons skated to a 0-0 tie at the end of the first period.   In the second period, Corbin Venckus broke the deadlock with the first score of the game. Benj Bultema assisted on the goal. The Bay Reps responded immediately just seconds later as they went down and scored off the face off, and then scored a second goal to go up by one. Ashton Bol evened up the score at two with a bomb from the point on a five on three power-play. Jake Noordewier and Corbin Venckus assisted on the goal. Second period ended in a tie. In the third period, the Reps scored an early goal to go up 3 to 2, and then added two late goals along with an open net goal with a minute to go. Noah Herzhaft had 38 saves.
