The Falcons bounced back from a tough loss to beat the host team, Mona Shores, in the second game of the tournament today improving their record to 6-7-0-2 overall and 3-1 in the conference as they continue to flirt with a 500 record. Corbin Venckus opened the scoring in the first period. Benj Bultema and Sam VanSchepen assisted on the goal. Ashton Bol scores his first of two goals with a rocket of a shot to double the lead and then scored again in the second period on the Power Play with another assist going to Bultema. Mona Shores scored once in the third, sustained some pressure providing them a few chances but Noah Herzhaft closed the door on them recording 35 saves in the game. The next games scheduled for the Eagles are Thursday and Friday in Traverse City and then Saturday at Georgetown Arena in Hudsonville.
