Wrestling: Individual District Tournament
On Saturday, February 9, 2019, the West Catholic Wrestling Team traveled to Muskegon Orchard View to participate in the MHSAA Individual District Tournament. All of the Falcons were faced with some of the toughest competition in West Michigan and wrestled hard. Two Falcons took home a medal and earned a seat in the Regional Tournament.
Freshman, Thomas Zielinski placed 4th in the 103# bracket & Junior, Jake Bozek earned a 3rd place finish in the 152# bracket. Both wrestlers will be competing in the Regional Tournament next weekend at Belding High School.
Seniors, Michael Kane & Vince Mauric were one win away from making it into the medal round this year.
