Falcons Lose: -
The Girls traveled to Ionia Lanes Saturday to compete in the Lowell Inv. Placing 8 out of 12 the girls were paced by Sophomore Cassidy Burns 179 - 155 for a 334 series and medaled for a 5th place overall finish. Freshamn Megan Kasperak went 162 - 128 for a 290 series. Freshman Emma Wittkoski had a game of 130 also.   Nice job ladies!!

Girls Varsity Bowlers Roll Over Hopkins Tonight

Falcons Win: 20 - 10
The Girls varsity bowling team rolled back into the comfy confines of the Clique Lanes, where they hosted the Hopkins Vikings. The home team came out victorious 20 - 10. Opening up the match with 2 Baker games, and 10 pts up for grabs, Hopkins won the first game 147-105 for 4 pts, West won the second game 138-133 to take the 4 pts, Total pins for the two game series went to Hopkins 280-243 for the extra 2 pts. Trailing 6 to 4 entering the regular game set, Madelyn Schiutman got things started by winning her point 116 to 93, Emma Wittkoski had a close match but came up short 120-143, Mia Stott followed with a season high game for her of 137 and took her point 137-104, Lily DeYoung lost her point 127-143. Anchoring for the girls was Cassidy Burns who finished the first game with a win of 144-138 and securing the first game total of 644-623 and 4 more points for the girls. Leading now 11-8 West's girls began hot again however Madelyn lost a close one 132-147, Emma won her point this time 157-124, Mia lost her point this game 113-146, while Lily and Cassidy finished up with points in there matches 130-105 and 142-115 respectively, also winning the game 2 total 674-637 for 4 points. Taking 2 more points for winning the 2 game total 1318-1260. The final score West Catholic 20 Hopkins 10 The girls bowled season high scores int the two regular games. Coopersville visits West at the Clique tomorrow night. Great job girls!!!

The 2018/19 edition of the Girls Bowling team debut at Lincoln Lanes today in the Allendale Invitational. This years team is larger then last season with 9 members participating. Led by returning sophomores, Cassidy Burns, Lily DeYoung, Mia Stott and Madelyn Schuitman, the girls are joined by freshmen, Megan Kasparek, Lexi Brown, Emma Wittkoski and Zoe Coles. The girls entered Lincoln Lanes today for their first competition of the season. The twelve team tournament consisted of very good teams. Host and OK Blue rival Allendale, Northview, Unity Christian, South Christian, Zeeland East, Orchard View, Kenowa Hills, Coopersville, Reeths Puffer, Wellspring Prep and GR Union. In the preliminary round of 2 regular games and 6 baker games, with scores of 565 - 548 in the regular games and 95-104-122-89-122 and 108, the girls found themselves in 7th place and advancing to the finals. In the finals the faced Northview in a 2 game baker match and lost 278-204. Scoring for the girls, Mia Stott 128-106 Cassidy Burns 134-94 Lily DeYoung 108-121 Megan Kasparek 89 Madelyn Schuitman 106 Lexi Brown 111 Emma Wittkoski 116. Good Start Ladies!! Next match Monday 12/3/2018 at the Clique Lanes versus Forest Hills Northern.
