Falcons Win: 49 - 41
Closing the year on the road at Hopkins, the JV Lady Falcons Basketball Team closed out the season with a nice win - defeating Hopkins 49-41. Anna Perez, Ashley Richmond and Sydney May all contributed both ends of the court - especially opening up the offense for scoring opportunities allowing Katie Clifford, who led all scorers with 17 points, Bridgett Florido and Hailey Siwek both scoring nine, Izzy Spicer added eight and Sydney Wildman scored six points. Coaches agreed that the JV Squad absolutely played their best basketball the last three games of the season.

Falcons Lose: 42 - 44
Lady JV Falcons battled back from 21 points down midway through the second quarter to tie the game at the end of regulation then ended up falling to Comstock Park in Overtime 44-42. Coaches knew the kids were going to be tired out of the gate as this was their third game in three days but the teams "Want to Win" was evident in this thriller. Eight of nine players scored for the Falcons; Katie Clifford (9), Sydney Wildman (8), Aleaha Maksymowski (6), Bridgett Florido (5), Ashley Richmond (5), Hailey Siwek (4), Anna Perez (3), Sydney May (2) while Izzy Spicer handed out seven assists. WC plays their last game of the season Tuesday at Hopkins starting at 5:30 PM.

Falcons Win: 58 - 35
The Lady JV Falcons put together their best effort of the season Wednesday beating Coopersville 58-35. Offensively Anna Perez had her best game leading the team in assists - moving the ball to players like Katie Clifford who scored 23 points and Ashley Richmond scoring 11, Izzy Spicer also contributed eight and Hailey Siwek scored seven points. The JV Falcons play their last conference game tonight at Comstock Park starting at 5:30 PM.

Falcons Lose: 28 - 40
WC's JV Girls Basketball Team lost to a "Very Solid" Unity Christian Basketball team Wednesday night 40-28. The Lady Falcons were led by Katie Cliffords offensive and defensive performance, scoring 15 points and playing solid defense. Hailey Siwek collected eight rebounds while scoring three points and Ashley Richmond contributed five points. The JV squad is looking to get off their seven game slide squaring off against Spring Lake Thursday evening 5:30 at West Catholic.

Falcons Lose: 33 - 45
WC Junior Varsity Ladies Basketball got off to a slow start against a solid Catholic Central team Tuesday night, they fought hard to get back into the game late but fell short to the Cougars 45-33. The Lady Falcons were led in scoring by Katie Clifford and Sydney Wildman both with eight points. Sparta Spartans are on the schedule for Thursday at WC beginning at 5:30.

Falcons Lose: 24 - 31
West Catholics JV Girls Basketball team faced a tough Comstock Park team coming up on the losing side of a 31-24 contest. A strong effort by the Lady Falcons on both ends of the court: Offensively lead by Hailey Siweks 8 points and Katie Cliffords 6 points. Defensively the team played much stronger with great efforts by Sydney May, Ashley Richmond and Bridget Florido. Next Game is 5:30 PM Tuesday 1/29 at WC against Kellogsville HS.

Falcons Lose: 12 - 24
The WC Lady JV Falcons had a solid defensive effort against Allendale but struggled offensively scoring just 12 points. Sydney Wildman and Hailey Siwek paced the Falcons with four points each while Bridget Florido and Ashley Richmond both scored two points. Captain Anna Perez is determined to keep this team moving forward - "we're not done coach - we are going to get better"
