Falcons Win: 7 - 0
The Lady Falcons took on the Aviators of West Michigan Aviation Academy Wednesday evening in what seemed to be a close matchup early on in the game.  It wasn't until about half way through the first half that Abbie Smith was able score her first goal of the season off an assist from Claire Arends to start off the scoring.  The Falcons kept their 1-0 lead until about four minutes left in the half when Arends was able to net her first goal of the season off an assist from Smith to give the Falcons a 2-0 lead over the Aviators.  The Falcons were able to head into half with a comfortable 4-0 lead after two more goals from Hannah Arends, assisted by Abby Druelle and Bridget Florido.  The Aviators kept right up in the second half until Smith scored twice more to give her a hat trick, both assisted from Hannah Arends.  Claire Arends wrapped up the game with her second goal of the night off of an assist from Claire Smith to give the Falcons a 7-0 win over the Aviators.  Rachel McGervey gained her second shutout of the season as well.  The Falcons will return to play after spring break on Wednesday the 14th at Fruitport at 6:45pm.
