Boys Varsity Cross Country vs. Multiple Opponents

Over the weekend the boys cross country team ran the Fruitport Invitational. There were a lot fast times and personal records to account for. Elisha Fedisoni, Joey Nawrocki, Jacob North, and Matthew Bouwhuis all ran their personal best times! Vinny Ladner took eighth place while Edward Frey took second place, both of them earning awards after! For many of the newer runners to keep taking off time each race has been a great confidence boost at the midway point of the season. What has helped has been the guys' ability to push each other and help their teammates to move up in the race. They will continue to use that consistency and momentum in a full week of practice at the big Portage Invitational this Saturday!
