The West Catholic girls varsity basketball team continued their home stand against conference foe Holland Christian Tuesday night. The Falcons started fast behind a strong defensive effort jumping out to a 17-2 first quarter lead. Emma Tuttle controlled the boards and Abbey Kimball had 17 of her team high 29 points in the first half as the Falcons held Holland Christian to just six first half points. Reese Polega had a good all around game and added 12 points in the 72-28 win. Elisha Dykstra had 2 three pointers and finished with 11 points and Cadence Dykstra ran the point and added 8 points. The 7-1 (2-0) Falcons play home Friday against Allendale. Tip is scheduled for 7:30 following the boys varsity game. Go West!
