The West Catholic girls varsity basketball team opened conference play in a big way Friday night and ended a long losing streak at Catholic Central as they defeated the Cougars 50-31. The Falcons never trailed from the opening tip, and led 27-15 at the half. Despite a valiant Cougar effort, Abbey Kimball. finished with 19 points and Maddie Smith and Maya Mileski each finished with seven points. The 5-1 (1-0) Falcons will play at Sparta on Tuesday, January 14th. Go West!
