What a day! The boys varsity cross country team ran at the big Portage Invitational today and all these boys showed up to race. Edward Frey ran his best time yet and took home a medal with it running a 16:46 and taking 38th overall! Vinny Ladner came in next with a 17:59 which is his season record! Kolbe Mills who has been coming off injury ran a 20:18 which helped push his teammates Jonathan Jensen and Justin Marble to run their personal bests! Jonathan ran a 20:42 with Justin right behind him with a time of 20:58. Jacob North and Elisha Fedisoni  pushed each other to the end with Jacob running a 21:32 and Elisha running a 21:40. That's more than a minute off their time for both of them! These boys showed grit and determination to finish and surpass their goals despite heavy competition. The fact that all seven varsity runners can do that at one time is really something to celebrate. They will look to keep it going as the season comes to a close with only three more meets left!
