The West Catholic Wrestling team traveled to Kenowa Hills to participate in the first team dual of the season.
The falcons first faced off against the Cougars of Catholic Central in the OK Blue Conference. While West had many solid wins including Jake Bozek, Andrew Kasprek Thomas Zielinski & Jared Scully, the team was not able to pull out a win & fell to the Cougars.
The second match of the night was against Kenowa Hills in the OK Black Conference. The Falcons were not able to get the momentum needed to get the win.

West Catholic Falcons traveled to Big Rapids to grapple in the 2018 Big Rapids Cardinal Wrestling Invitational. The Falcons were able to capture three team wins from Hopkins, Lakeview & Big Rapids, while taking the losses from Evart & Hastings.
Individually two Falcons went undefeated for the day & earned the Outstanding Wrestler awards. Both Josh Hernandez (119#) & Jake Bozek (160#) won all of their matches by pin! Great job guys!
