Thursday, May 28 saw the Girls Varsity Soccer team head to Kent City High School for the MHSAA Division 3 District Final against NorthPointe Christian. A tough NPC team with only one loss on the season, the Falcons led by Kenley Slanger's single regulation goal took a 1-1 game into overtime. Another Slanger goal made a 2-2 tie once more heading into Penalty Kicks. 

In PK's West Catholic's Senior Goal Keeper Katelyn Adams provided two major saves giving the offensive attack a chance to strike for the crown. Kenley Slanger, Avery Dusseau, Elanora Alivia, and Karsyn Slanger all made their PK's ending the game in dramatic fashion with Karsyn Slanger finding the back of the net on a walk-off winner giving West the 6-5 win!
